(Part 2 of a graduate interview) Ross completed his LINT course at Heriot-Watt in 2006, and after having worked as an inhouse translator in Spain, he started working freelance, and doing interpreting. In this video, he explains how he made the transition and describes the advantages and disadvantages of each situation. Ross was also selected to do a traineeship at the Directorate General for Translation (EU institutions), so in this video, he tells us more about the scheme and its benefits.
