For the month of October I have decided to review 31 of the best horror video games. 31 games in 31 days - all coming from the 'horror' genre of games that I have played in my lifetime as a gamer. This list may change over the years, but enjoy as I unravel the best of the best. If you have ideas, suggestions, or comments please feel free to leave them. "The lack of a HUD allows for no distraction on screen..." Really?! I found Isaac taking up half of the screen very distracting.

Well I always found this game to be the pinnacle of mediocrity.

Would you rather have all the numbers and bars taking up most of your screen? Having you character as the central focal point puts more emphasis on what is happening to YOU, which is a good thing for this style of game.

There is a movie confirmed. not like the OK anime one. a live action by the director of eagle eye. im a little bit skeptical, that director has had some bad movies. and SAM werthington is sied to play isaac, witch i think is pretty cool. thumbs up so people can see

Last summer i played 3 times straight through this game. Im now at the 21 st playthrough, its definetlel my fav game. However DS2 was a little letdown for me...

Dead Space is the successor of Resident Evil! I will enjoy their unlimited sequels!

I dunno, I wasn't very scared during Dead Space. Every time it built atmosphere it just threw a ton of monsters at you, and while some parts like the sprinters and the regenerator were pretty damn scary, it didn't really get under my skin otherwise.

@LockeVincent i agree i'd rather have it this way. for one i prefer the 3rd person, and its good that the health and ammo is displayed on the character/weapon itself - to leave the screen free of any HUD and making for more of a cinematic experience. very good reviews, for all the reviews ive seen by you so far. you give good honest points about the important things we should know without giving away any spoilers. thumbs up!
