"What happened?"

Well. So here we are. Me, Autumn, Joe, and Nick. All waiting to see if Kevin will survive. Yes, here we are. A branch fell on him. I don't know what part of him got damaged, because we just got here. I don't remember how I got here...or what happened while we got here or anything.
On second thought, I do remember. Autumn ran over to get Nick, and tell him what happened. He almost went psycho. I know him and Kevin are good friends, brothers, but I didn't know he cared that much. Hmm. I looked down to the floor. It was blue. Navy blue carpeting, crimson red chairs and dark beige walls. Odd colors for a hospital. I looked to my right and saw Autumn, who was sitting down with her legs bunched up next to her, who looked sad. Not nearly as sad as me, though.
But that's it. That's exactly it! I don't know why I'm sad. He's the guy I've hated yesterday. Today. Tomorrow...maybe. So why am I here? Because, deep down, I still love him. I still do. Sometimes I fight it, but it's the truth. I looked past Autumn and saw Nick. He was sitting close to her. I don't think him nor Autumn noticed how close they really were sitting. If I was just some person who walked in and saw them, I'd guess they were dating or something. But that doesn't matter. He looked beyond upset, destroyed. Joe looked worse. Not much, but slightly. This must be so hard for them. Autumn didn't seem to be nearly as upset as me or Nick or Joe. I understood, though. She didn't like Kevin like me. He wasn't her brother, like Nick or Joe. So it's okay. She's still here, comforting us, and thats what counts.
I heard a door shut, so I looked up. I didn't see anyone walk in the room. The walls were all glass with black blinds which were open. It was so warm looking here, you could hardly believe it to be a hospital. I heard another door shut near by, so I looked up again. A middle-aged man in a white coat, which you would expect from a doctor, came in the room. We all looked up at the same, as the doctor looked back. "Are you all here for Kevin Jonas?" He asked, as if he thought we did it to him. "Yes" I managed to say. He looked back at his clipboard and sighed. "Well, I have some bad news"
