This is first video of Tecnam P-96 Golf for X-Plane aircraft that I am developing, just a first draft of what is yet to come, everything is work in progress and will furtherly improve, but I was really excited to get out some video, so here it is ...

Now, let me explain a few problematic parts:
1) I am fully aware, that some of the instruments don't look too good. They are elliptical instead of rounded and they don't look too sharp either. The reason is that I only had common photos of that one particular Golf I fly and I didn't want to use any other photos where the instruments were slightly different, so some instruments, especially those on the right side of the panel are shot from certain angle instead of head-on and the result is what you see here ... :) So, what is gonna happen next is that I am going to take better pictures, more suited for my purpose once I get to the airport again. And for the 3D cockpit I am probably going to model those instruments anyway ...
2) The dishwasher-like sound when in the outside view of the plane is caused by the fact that I only had video with Golf close enough to actually hear the engine sound, but that Golf is moving away on that video, so it's the Doppler effect and when X-Plane plays that short sound over and over you get what hear ... :) I will try to shorten that sound to get rid of this and eventually record a new sound ...
3) There are some minor departures from the real Golf, but really tiny details, for example I am using the default X-Plane radio and transponder because I haven't got to succeed in modeling the custom ones yet and there is real Golf does not have a generator switch and the battery is actually on the key where engine starter is, again I need to learn how to customize these systems in X-Plane ...

As I said, it is the work in progress, so everything will get improved and fixed. Next I will start modeling a 3D cockpit and external model in Blender ... will keep you posted ...
