Mass Media arm called television has a simple routine. It produces a show just interesting enough to draw a crowd then force feed them commercials. This is why they are losing tons of money. However, the Jerry Lewis Telethon was not invented by Mass Media, but by one man wanting to do what was right.

We will never know the true reason why Jerry started the telethon. But we will always remember how it ended. Greedy television CEO's wanting to make money instead of helping the most helpless of all americans, little children.

My favorite brother has the slow form of MS. MDA utilizing the money you all donated has helped him over the years. I wish I could kiss the feet of everyone whose money help kept my brother alive. Words simply cannot express how grateful I am for all those extra years we had together. Without your charitible hearts, we would have lost him years ago. So, yeah, I'm taking this personal. But I'm not gonna censure any posting, just becuz we veiw things differently. Go ahead and express yourselves.

Jerry had a son, who had a MDA disease; and he could not get answers or of course, a cure for his son's ailment. So out of his kindness and using his position, he pulled off a miracle, called the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Most researchers wont touch MD, because there is not enough money in it; many universities have started research, but then stopped because there is not any money for them to carry on; but like most things without the money, nothing.
