@YankeeGoldProspect ok soo if i wanted to just pan or sluice in the river in nh or maine...would that be ok to just go? i dont have a dredge or anything.. if its on someones property i have no problem going to ask if i can thats just good manors but if i have to pay everywhere i go its not very much fun...
@jhunted7667 alright...id check it out if your willin to say the address..im headed to ct this weekend and need to waste some time..propbly wouldnt even do any panning or anythign just check it out...what you told me intrigues me...id like to investigate...if i come out screamin then i will never go back
@SmokeyandtheBandit77 Land owner permission is required in ME but not necessarily written like it is in NH. Byron promotes dredging but that is limited to some areas. You need to check in with the store across from the Coos Canyon Campground. They have a list of land owners that allow dredging. In NH the Twin River campground in allows dredging on there property for a fee. If you are staying at the campground, they will give you a pass while you are there.
@SmokeyandtheBandit77 make sure that your NOT on state land , there is a place but people I sent there before came out screaming saying the place is demon possessed , I know I would not go there
