Then along comes this guy, where does he seriously think he is going? Who knows.

Can't blame you for anything that was said as i've been in similar situations and dome similar. But something to note, and this is from personal experience, be careful about what you say in a public place, as this footage can be used against you and a public order offence can be applied, i know as i was warned by the police :O

Taypet, if you fail to report this, that taxi driver will have learned absolutely nothing about driving safely around cyclists. Oh he might "stew and worry" for a few days but he'll then enjoy a sense of having got away with it and will not flinch from cutting up another cyclist and that might have a more serious outcome.

Don't reinforce his awful attitude to other road users by condoning his driving.

Report him.

When people harass me in my bike, I cut in front, get off the bike and tell them to run me over as a passenger rather than a cyclist before standing in front of their car

@knoxieman I have, on a number of occasions, told the driver to stop so that I can get off when he's answered his phone. Losing a paying fare quickly convinces them that getting a hands-free kit is a cheaper and better alternative.

as a bus driver i meet taxis all they long and i can say that arab drivers are the wortest. they dont look in the mirrors drive like idiots etc. english cab drivers are nice
