D23 2009 - Cars Land Overview

An overview of some of the Cars Land models & technical previews that were available at the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts pavilion at last weekend's D23 Expo.

Included is a small-scale model of the entire land, a technical test for a new projection system, and a large-scale model of the new Radiator Springs Racers.

i have a Great idea They play life on the highway all over cars land.

my thing is, the meetable cars characters are statues with motors. i can undrestand why they arent driving around(saftey issue) but i thought it would make sence to add the living character initiative to them. They should have been talking since they came, using some of that push technology

Since this was only a test of the mouth and eyes, there will most likely be body movement in the final version. :-)

The "technical test for a new projection system" looks to me like a revival of Synchro-Vox.
