This is an excerpt from the closing number in a concert by the Chicago Staff Band of the Salvation Army, presented on Jan. 24, 2009, at River Terrace Church in East Lansing, Mich. Bandmaster Bill Himes directs the band in the last section of John Philip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever." The piccolo part is rendered by soprano cornetist Kory Strand.
