IN FLAMES - The mirror's truth (EP) (Review)

Abnegation is among my favourite new In flames songs! And i agree with Scheinweltname's review in that Eraser is awesome, but Mirror's Truth is lacking a little something (probably too short), and i can't see any comparisson with Reroute's title track. Perhaps it's the melodic chorus? Is that it? :)

Well my favourite In Flames album is Come Clarity (one of the best albums ever made in my opinion). I just find the lyrics and songs to be less 'solid' in Sense of Purpose! ... songs are too short

Okay, Abnegation is one of the best In Flames songs I've ever heard, no it's not quite Reroute to Remain, but in a lot of respects it's better.

Am I the only one, who like the old in Flames and the new one too ?

i didn't notice any change in them at all i found these songs to be just as fun deep and heavy as always.

A LOT of In Flames songs are about politics and what's going to happen if we keep moving in a certain direction. Though a lot of songs might fool you since for example "Take This Life" is not about wanting to die or killing your self, but to take care of your life, which I found rather optimistic than pessimistic!

Saying IF lyrics are emo means that A LOT of other bands lyrics are emo too, and then we can start saying emotional instead. Cause emo should not equal to emotional.

emo melodic death metal, dude what the fuck. You dont say emo in the same sentence as In Flames, it just automatically sounds wrong. And to all you people you are crying about In Flames not being how they used to be, your all silly. In Flames are In Flames no matter what. What it comes down to is the people that are TRUE fans will like them for who they are, not what there old stuff was like. You would all be crying if they DIDNT change as well
