Before we begin, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my Savior, even in something as small as this. Amen.

From across the arid plains and through the trackless wilderness comes a rip-snortin' installment from Amateur Extension Theater 2000! I'm your quick drawin', word drawlin' drifter of a host, Kid Alkahest.

A little known game created by Squaresoft, "Live A Live" is an RPG game somewhat in the style of the SaGa series. It stars a cast of six playable protagonists, each with their own unique storyline and style of play; from a ninja in the waning twilight of Japan's feudal era, to a lonesome cowboy wandering the wild western wastes of America, and even a self-aware robot in the far off future, there's a little something for everybody.

Perhaps what's best of all, is that the entire OST is composed by Yoko Shimomura, best known for her work in Kingdom Hearts and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, to name but a few of her crowning musical achievements.

'Wanderer' is the leitmotif of the Sundown Kid, a drifter of the high plains whose past is shrouded in mystery. Good, bad, ugly... such titles have no meaning or interest to him. Sundown is a simple man, and roams the western plains of America, aiming to stay one step ahead of Mad Dog, an aptly nicknamed bounty hunter who pursues him with unrelenting determination.

I have to say, this is a great theme, and it makes me wonder what might've been if Yoko Shimomura had been hired to compose for Wild Arms in place of Michiko Naruke -- to be sure, I have the utmost of respect and admiration for Michiko, but Yoko's work here is absolutely brilliant. I regret that she hasn't been tasked to create more wild west themed music; from the moment this tune begins, it hits every note just right. (Man, wish this could've made it onto drammatica along with the other two LAL themes...)

Hold yer wild horses though, pardner! AET2k ain't quite finished, now. Four more extensions await us on the not so lone prairie: The Wilds, Sanchos de Los Panchos, Under the Fake, and a special in-game only "Whistle Version" of Wanderer. Here's hopin' you'll enjoy the latest heaping helping of AET2k's musicality! Till next time, y'all take care 'n God bless.

Since ya went to the trouble o' lookin' down here, I'll fess up: Sundown the Cowboy, Oboro-maru the Ninja, and Cube the Robot -- that's my LAL Dream Team. *tips hat* Late, y'all.
