I came in late on the Darkstalkers band wagon and only played/owned Chaos Tower but instantly Donovan became my favorite character.

This guy WOWED us in the arcades with all that sick elemental animation. It was the first time we had seen a sprite as well animated as little Anita parlaying in the background off of another main character sprite. Capcom used to be a pioneer. That was then. His theme fits his gameplay style.

I remember playing the PSX version of Darkstalkers 3. It was so awesome, because every character was available on the 3 incarnations, I mean, you could use Donovan in Vampire Savior, using Talbain in Vampire Savior 2 and Lilith in Vampire Hunter 2. Not to mention that feature to switch the music between the three games. One of the best versions, if you ask me. Renegade, I hope you really played the PSX version of DS3. If not, I wish you good luck getting in on Ebay. =3

Like seriously...Ahem..Back when they actually gave a F&k about music. It makes me mad..with all this synth blending of instruments with the occasional vocals thrown in that ultimately sounds like nothing, or overdone 20XX war music with guitar riffs...This is true video game music

Donovan made an appearance in Dr. Strange's ending in UMvC3. Here's to hoping he makes it in eventually. Oh, and the other Darskatlkers getting buffed. Felicia's going to do fine, I think. She wasn't bad by any means, just had a hard time getting in. Morrigan needs more damage and the ability to combo off throws, and Hsien-Ko needs her Pendulum cancels that should've been in there in the first place.

Also, does Don here remind anyone else of a JoJo's char? He even has a music name.

Interesting, quite a few of the Darkstalker characters that appeared in Puzzle Fighter used remixed versions of the Darkstalkers 2 themes.Capcom was king back in the day. Still is, but not as much as they used to be.
