"Now You're Not Here (Instrumental)" from the Swing Out Sister maxi-single "The Big Elsewhere" that features eight versions of "Now You're Not Here". This is the eighth and final track from the CD featuring Corrine Drewery on lead vocals and Andy Connell on keyboards. Toshio Araki and Mashiro Sugasaka are on trumptet with Yoichi Murato offering up both trombone and bass trombone. Tenor and bariton sax are courtesy of Takuo Yamamoto and Osamu Koike with Hideya Takakuwa on flute. Backing vocals are provided by Melody Sexton and Leon Daniels. Masayoshi Furukawa lends skills on guitars and Masaharu Ishikawa on drums. Produced and engineered by Paul Staveley O'Duffy, horn arrangement by Yoichi Murata. Assistants are Yutuka Uematsu (Burnish Stone Stdios), Tatsuya Shimokawa (Digital Solutions), nad Yutka Shimoyama (Victor Entertainment, Inc.). Everytime I hear a SwingOutSister song something about it always makes me think about how Richard Carpenter arranged their tunes when Karen was around...

Seems like Corrine and Andy like the "old school" songs and artists...

@gnolt Yeah Burt Bacharach is great. I also admire his beautiful music, songs which come alive with the renditions of Dionne Warwick. Swing Out Sister is great also! In every age in music, there is some group that would make you feel good, great! They should not be compared as who is better than the other. They should be appreciated for their own respective greatness.

SOS has done a lot of instrumental only of their songs, and they do it so well. Love their work, not enough recognition in todays music world, sure glad I know of them.
