AARP: 2012 WV Legislature - Uniform Power of Attorney Act

AARP supports efforts to strengthen legal protections for West Virginians 50-plus, ensuring that the decisions made over a lifetime of financial planning are honored and protected. A Uniform Power of Attorney Act aims to promote autonomy, while preventing, detecting and redressing power of attorney abuse against older persons, protected persons or incapacitated adults.
