"Duck Duck Goose" was a local children's television program that aired weekday mornings on WCIX Channel 6 in Miami during the early 1980s. It featured a variety of characters, including The Professor.
The Professor's segments were done on a shoestring budget (about $5 a week) and were written entirely by him.
His "German" accent would come and go, and often sounded more Italian (or New York Italian) than German. The set and/or props frequently malfunctioned, often with hilarious results. Sometimes The Professor couldn't seem to keep his hat on his head. But it didn't matter; there was no time for re-shoots, and so the segments aired, mistakes and all.
In today's lesson, The Professor demonstrates how to use the letters in the word "tulip" to make new words.
