i was at this show it also featured a band called the skatenigs they had this cool projector with animals doing all kinds of wierd stuff forwards and in reverse oh man so many things happened that night!! somebody got stabbed in the bathroom .. i can tell you without a doubt that the vortex was on main st in a building that is now l&m bookstore i dont remember if it was the whole building but it used to be called club oasis..

@reneinsananto where exactly was the Vortex in San Antonio. I saw the painteens somewhere. I think it was called the Showcase. A bunch of bands used to play at what used to be an old grocery store was that the Showcase? Do you remember what the Venue was downtown by the railroad tracks? I saw Fugazi there around the same time 1991 or so. I moved from San Antonio in 1992 and my memory is fuzzy
