CF light bulbs are dangerous when broken CFL

All this talk about switching bulbs to CFLs to save our planet is just a crock of shit. Face it, MOST ppl are not gona take the time to drive for miles to a recycling center to properpy dispose these bulbs. Mercury is gona fill our planet and drinking water. Bush and his staff, as usual making poor decisions and dont think about consequences until its too late. Start stocking up on edison bulbs NOW like im doing. At least until GE makes energy efficient incandecents. Government can KissMyAss

I thought that the United States was about freedom. Who the hell does the government think he is telling us the kinda bulbs we need to use? CFLs give off shitty light and LEDs are no better either. I will stock up on edison bulbs for ever. The good news is that G.E. is making energy efficient incandecent bulbs so the incandecents are not necessarily going away. Heres another issue, How the hell are we gona use CFLs in our refridgerators? CFLs dont mix with cold.

Hey, crazybeavers155, LEDs are not 100% perfect. Everyone should know this. If you have an old LED bulb and a new LED bulb side-by-side, the old bulb will be blue colored and the other new one will be white colored! That is a major problem if you don't want the house to look ugly. Also, we should also look for other alternatives like ESLs which are like "magically" the same as incans but use a lot less power. I also hope that LEDs will improve to 100% perfection, but it will cost lost of money.

that is true if u use a power sours that is greater then needed and if u might got a blue led lamp not that wihte one cfls are dangerious then incandecis because of that nad the tranformber

if they had a cleaner runnning power plant we would not have this problem water powered plants like the "water wheel" and the "windmill"
