The dimolybdenum molecule, Mo2, contains a sextuple bond.

One component of this bond is a delta bond formed by the overlap of two appropriately-aligned d orbitals, one on each molybdenum atom.

For more information see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sextuple_bond and http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.chemphys.2007.05.028

Model constructed in Spartan '04 Student Edition, http://www.wavefun.com/products/macintosh/Student/mac_student.html.
