@ReclusiveWriter do stardates realy matter? I thought they were just randome #'s, besides in one of farreget's episodes they said "five years ago" and they had basic tos uniformes not the pike turrtel neck uniformes so farreget (or at least the last episode) is set around 2270 right?

Negative. According to episode stardates, they were on Farragut before "The Ultimate Computer".
