Then you're in the wrong place... You track dry and add the distortion later on if you want to have control of your tone after the performance is over. If you track wet then you're done when the "tape" stops rolling, and plug ins are the only thing you can use to make changes.
Re-Amping is for layering a bunch of amps together from one single performance, or twiddling the knobs to suit the mix instead of just falling in love with how it sounds in the room and praying it works in context
If im not using a backing track can i just use a wet signal, i dont really see the point of adding the distortion later on if im recording a heavy tune
I want to record 2 seperate guitar tracks , one rythm one lead , can i not just record both of them with 2 different wet tones?
Im 100% new to this so i dont know what to do really
how do you do this with a X3 Pro on mac??
