Today was an exceptional day with a variety of weather, whales and seabirds. We sailed out of Hafnarfjörður today in a snow storm and after only 10 mins of sailing we spotted a Humpback Whale. It was amazing to see the humpback's back in the falling snow. After a while the humpback got more used to us and started coming closer and closer until it scared one of the passengers as it surfaced all of a sudden just inches of where she was standing. The weather started to clear up and with better visibility we could see the Orca in the distance. One family of about 7 individuals. They seemed to be busy feeding but on the odd occasion they came close to check us out. As the tour was almost over we got the most beautiful light. Incredible tour.
