Brilliant, I am 40 years old and remember this song on MTV aswell. I have always LOVED this song. It's great to see the them sing it again so many years later. I love the fact their musical contribution can still be enjoyed many years later and what's even better is you can see them still enjoying it aswell!! Bravo, thank you for your contribution to music!

I'm 50 now and remember this like it was yesterday as the FIRST song ever shown on MTV...the Chicago area was buzzzing about it. The sound even better today! Kudos to you and keep rocking!

@casho12 Trevor is singing live, the whole band is playing live. I dont think the girls need to be lip synced, they might have a doubling effect on their voice.
Dont take this the wrong way but, I think you must be a young person. Artists today arent that talented so they use autotune and lipsync. believe it or not these guys can actually play and sing.

I am 60 and watched them in the first MTV video broadcast in 1981. It makes me smile when teenagers 'discover' this song. There is at least 3 generations that now appreciate the work from this band. Trevor Horne (vocals, bass guitar), Geoff Downes (keyboard) and Bruce Wooley (guitar) wrote the song and were accompanied by Debi Doss and Linda Jardim (backup singers). They are all original members of the band. One of the best songs ever!

Buggles, i thought he wouldn't sing, at his age.. Love your song and wow he is something...We'd probably never get a singer like him ever again... All respect goes to this man and his crew... GO Buggles GO!!
