@bennylouis2011 Don't be preachin to me, it was a joke. I've heard worse things come out of a priests mouth than what I said. I have many Roman Friends (some priests), and they would laugh just as hard as I would. In regards to being Catholic, those who are truly born again are part of the Catholic (Universal) church, despite denomination! The pope is not a successor of Peter, one should do a little history! The Bible is more than a story book, IT'S GOD'S WORD, EVEN ROME TEACHES THIS!

@Menechem I'm not Roman Catholic but for all the bad priests that are out there, there are many many more really good priests doing Christ's work. Of course, that wouldn't make for good media play so you don't hear about all the good ones, only the bad ones. I do think the RC Church should allow priests to marry just as the Eastern Orthodox Church does however.

@bennylouis2011 Let's not forget the Orthodox Christian East and the role of the Pope and the Church prior to the Great Schism. According to the Canons of the Church, the Ecumenical Patriarch had primacy, but historically all bishops were regarded as equals and no single bishop could make decisions regarding matters of dogma and doctrine on his own; rather, it was only by means of Ecumenical Council that such decisions could be made.

@thatsamistery Brother you might be from a non-catholic religion but I tell you pope is elected by the Jesus to be the head of his church.Jesus elected Simon peter as the head of his church.I appreciate you people of being so devotional to the Bible we too read the bible as the word of god.But the Bible is just a story book if you do not follow it and you have come from reformation. We follow right from the birth of christ and may all non-catholics who offend with bad stuff may god forgive them.
