you will get mighty lucky to come into here self guided not knowing the area and get an elk. plus we don't care to see out of state plates in our mountains. so i would get a guide. they will make sure you don't get yourself lost
This is one of the best videos I have seen - it captures the camaraderie of hunting - because it is much more than just the taking of animal. Hunting means time with friends, time to enjoy the breeze upon your face.. nothing makes you feel smaller than a view from a top one of those ridges.. thanks for sharing
Brings back a lot of memories from hunts with my dad and brothers. There's nothing better, and I can't wait until season again this year! Great pictures--- it's hard to beat the scenery and experience of Montana and Idaho!
I'm a east coast hunter. I have been dreaming of hunting in big sky country all of my life. I purchased a gun for my dream hunt recently, part of planning for the trip. How feasible do you think it is for me to do a LOAD of research and plan a self guided hunt for elk and maybe other game. The idea of paying some guide to show me where to walk, how to walk and say SHOOT there does nothing for me at all. That's for city boys. BTW, Montana should give you guys money for producing this art!
I for one certainly dont care if nobody thinks mt got big bucks. the nonresident hunters are much too plentiful here anyway! besides the thrill of any hunt should come largely from just being out in nature enjoying Gods creation... and yes putting game down being the finale - regardless of the size. btw i didnt notice any '' monsterbucks'' posted on your site. great vid! 5 stars!
