MacArthur's grantmaking aims to determine how digital media are changing the way young people learn, play, socialize, and participate in civic life. Answers are critical to education and other social institutions that must meet the needs of this and future generations.

Great webcast to showcase the stages of digital media through our time and how the tools and methods are transforming educator and student learning. This would make a a wonderful PD in service for K-12 staff, to provide the big picture overview of understanding the positive potential of digital media and universal authorship in the classroom.
