take it as you want but sadly they are right! the majority of people are shallow and sadly a guy like him doesn't market as easy as a pretty boy would. people want to see celebrity's that they aspire to be not someone who they already look like. this man has a great voice and that's why he won but don't pretend like he's making millions rite now worldwide. why is that? because "Beauty" sells. its fucked up but true. lets hope that him winning is a shimmer that people are starting to understand

@lookslikeautube yep, he's british. But, actually you are missing the point. Simon is actually calling him the winner. The fact that he tells him that he ugly is not to be mean, he is saying what he knows people will say. As a public figure, Kurt will have people calling him worse because of his looks, there is no place in this competitive business for "nice" comments, and Simon is saying: look, people will say you are ugly, but you sing like a god, just sing and win...and he did.

@ApriluBeogradu My comment was just a statement, an observation. But why don't you just use lower-case if it doesn't matter? It's easier to read if you want to get your message across to more people. Also, if you're blind, do you have a program that reads you the text? And if you do, does it say smiley or just colon parenthesis now :)
