@bjornhelge97 no midi controller gives you a touch screen control and monitoring over ableton live. It looks a little cleaner on stage to have everything in one board. I run a master controller to 2 mac pro's inside of a 32 space ATA unit with LCD's mounted on my rack, but it's not practical for most people.

Can't you do eksactly the same things with a Mac and a good midi controller?

That keyboard is insane - so it runs all its sounds off samples in software - whats the price range and what windows OS is it running and what spec is the computer???

Functionally, yes. Touch screen built in and all the internal Open Labs software wouldn't be available of course, but you can still do a lot with a laptop and midi-controller.
