In the first of a series of developer diaries, Senior Producer Paul Jeal and Chief Game Designer Stephen Hood are joined by FORMULA ONE™ driver Anthony Davidson, Technical Consultant on F1 2010™.

Focussing on the determination of the team at Codemasters Studios Birmingham to deliver the most authentic FORMULA ONE™ game yet, the video demonstrates key features including pit stops, vehicle handling and the most advanced dynamic weather system to ever feature in a racing game.

The developer diary also shows how Anthony Davidson, BRAWN GPs 2009 test and reserve driver, has become embedded in the team to ensure F1 2010™ gives gamers the ultimate FORMULA ONE™ racing experience.

  • @Basskicker93 no sadly igve got this game but 2011 u can

  • can you play it splitscreen ??

  • So what's happened to the 2009 cars shown in this video? It's clear that they were used for demonstration purposes whilst the game was in development, but it seems a shame to scrap them as they all look game quality. They should definitely implement them as an unlock or time trial cars, cos I want to use a Brawn damnit!

  • I'm quite happy that they have made the handling different to grid and dirt

  • @Ollie1utd I'm not 100% sure but they will most likely not refuel :)

  • @OliDeu Ian brown - FEAR

  • hope they dont refile fuel at pit stop so it is as realistic as possible!!

  • What's the music track of that clip ?

  • Just forget my message, i found it thanks to rjo78.

    Thank you very much.

And thanks to Codemasters for giving the F1 Simulator a soul again. This is amazing. I Cant believe that with the Tyre PSI. And the downforce. Everything.

I am actully about to cry. Finally someone who delievers what they promise.

    Thank you CodeMasters.
