Little Sadie is a murder ballad and a great tune, I play it using a capo on the 2nd fret and the shapes of Dm, C, Am, and G. There are some small runs in there too which I think add some flavour (I hope!).

The words are often different depending on who sings the song but in general the guy shoots Sadie, runs off, gets caught, and then gets life in prison.

'Went out last night, to take a look around,
met little sadie and I blowed her down,
I ran home, jumped into bed
a 44 smokeless under my head'

  • Wow..That was awesome!!

do you have any tabs for this or do u play by ear?

  • @guitarlover2013 I play by ear mostly, there is no tab for this - in terms of what I'm doing - but the chords are Dm, F, Dm, C, Am, C, G - although I tend to have a capo and that pushes the key up, but those 'shapes' will do it for you if you take the capo as being the nut. glad ya liked it!
