History of the Sephardic Jews.
Montage of images set to Bussindre Reel by Spanish musician, Hevia.
The video shows the culture of Jews of Spain and their destruction by the Roman Catholic church. Next it shows the Sephardic dispersion into the diaspora with images of famous Sepharadim. Next the images show famous Sephardic synagogues, rabbis, cuisine, muscians, actors, and artists. Lastly the images show the redemption and return of the Sephardim to the land of Israel.

  • i'm a sfaradi from israel and i hope that in the future all jews-ashkenazim(the majority doesn't live in israel) and sfaradim\mizrahim(the majority lives in israel) would live in israel and that in the future nobody will remember what's ashkenazi or sfardi is- only israeli.

  • @TheLordIdanZiegeL

אתה נכון. אנחנו כל יהודים ביחד

  • I am of the Corteguera family (Cortiguera). There is a city in Spain close by Austrias named after our ancestors. I am very happy to meet others who are from Spain, just to get an idea of the livelihood out there. I LOVE this song by the way!

  • @shmaisrael3is1 Thanks for nice comment, friend. Peace.

  • tks for the upload nice vid. Just one question, Is that really a Sephardic song? Sounds very much from Galicia Northern Spain!

  • @cix888 Your right. This not really a Sephardic instrumental. It is Bussindre Reel by Spanish musician, Hevia. I chose this piece because my family is from Asturias, Spain. The town of Mier. The Jews of northern Spain would have been familiar with Spanish Celtic music. Thanks :-)

  • durty people

  • hevia is so un-jewish

  • Both my parents are from Morocco, my father from Rabat, and my mother from Casablanca. We grew up on Moroccan cooking, tea, cookies, and my favorite Mahia of which I have some! I am so sorry that I did not continue my heritage with my children, although they love my Moroccan food and ask for it when they come to visit. We have one of the richest histories and I am very proud of it.Now all I need to do is learn the Arabic from Morocco, I speak french and English.

  • En España hoy en día no existe antisemitismo, no podéis comparar la "España" de hace 500 años con la actual, eran otros tiempos, donde la religión imperaba.

  • 2,000 years of the "christian church" trying to do all it could to separate itself from its Hebrew roots has created a religion and people with many confusing doctrines. Because the Messiah was to come from the family of Abraham and David the Jews have been targets for annihilation over the centuries. We will see God restoring these people and the grafted in "christians" into "one people" as He foretold before the Messiah returns again.

  • @mierpaul thanks bro. it's really the time that the jews would return home. the galut turns more and more horrible.
