Iv always wanted a camel, but never really known how to care for them, like what they eat, and where do you keep them, do you have to live in the desert, or can you just have a paddock? Sorry, lots of questions,lol :D

You don't have to live in the desert, but if you live in a very cold climate a Bactrian Camel is a better choice. Camels don't do well in paddocks, if you mean small round-pen like enclosures, they really need a pasture.

LOL !! it's weird I'm from Saudi Arabia were camels are like cats here ,they are every where but I don't seem to like them that much. Maybe you should come here I know some crazy stupid rich people who has like 2000 camels :S u wil enjoy it ;p

The native range is assumed to have been North America.  They went extinct in thier native range but migrated and flourished elsewhere.

The Dromedary camel (Camelus dromedarius) is a large even-toed ungulate. The dromedary camel is arguably the best-known member of the camel family. Dromedaries have a cream to brown or black short-haired coat, which is longer on the head, neck, throat, rump and tail. They inhabit South West Asia and North Africa. Its native range is unclear, but it was probably the Arabian Peninsula.

They are desert animals and have have numerous adaptations for life in an arid habitat.

Oh ok, thanks for that. When i said pastures i meant, like what a horse would live in, a feild with grass, would that still be suitable :)

Will it depends, I'm not that expert on how much they coast but it varies from 10 up to 26 thousand dollar , but for some kind it can reach to 2 million Riyal (about 500k $) ;S it's crazyyy some people are starving here this is stupid. They make a beauty contest for them for god sake LOL XD . But if you wanna come let me know and maybe we can steal one from the street they will not even notice it this is cheaper :Pp
