Episode #12 of the "Fall Railfanning" Series.
Went to Mount Vernon, VA and stopped by Alexandria on the Wensday before Thanksgiving. Caught the CSX "Juice Train", Amtrak's Heritage P42 #156, and a great horn "concert" at the end by the southbound Carolinian, a northbound NS freight, a CSX light move, and the Washington, DC Metro.
Thanks for watching and please comment, rate, and subscribe!

@justmejie I was referring to the last Amtrak train in the video with P42 #156 pulling and the baggage car as the last car of the train.

@GulfWindProductions Going by the timeline of this video it would make sense for that to be train #79. The rest of the consist matches it too. I just wonder what the reasons are for moving it to the back. Obviously I wouldn't think position matters too much as long as it's on one of the ends of the consist, but I'm guessing it has to do with the way consists are assembled. Maybe it's easier to put it on the back.

@murjax Carolinians are doing it now for the last couple of weeks... I saw it like that a few days ago...

The consist of the train with the Viewliner matches that of the Cardinal, trains 50/51. The Silver service trains have more than one Viewliner and a Heritage Diner, the Cardinal has"Diner Light" thus the Amfleet "Cafe".
