  • Gene Clark é inesquecivel. Irene

  • fantastic...RIP Gene and Michael x

  • Fantastic band! Hard to imagine that they were never offered a recording contract. Gene Clark (Byrds) was the star of the show, but all the band members, except drummer Michael Clarke (Byrds) got a few songs. The band also included Rick Danko (Band), Bondie Chaplin (Beach Boys & now - Rolling Stones), Rick Roberts (Flying Burrito Bros. & Firefall), and John York (Byrds). Richard Manuel (Band) joined for a few gigs. The (reformed) Flying Burrito Brothers generally opened the show.

  • This version is better then the 65' Byrds. Gene should have had the lead on this on the early Byrds album. He does it much better than Roger.

  • good I love this...anyone know if this is available anywhere? I'd love to get the whole thing somehow...also, am I crazy, or does rick danko not sing on any of the 3 posted (I know he sings just a very little harmony on the bridge here) ? that's crazy to have him play but not really sing...he's got one of my favorite voices

  • We played with this version of the triibute to the Byrds in 85 or 86.

I'll never forget it- Gene signed my Gene Clark with The Gosdin Brothers Lp !

  • This looks like a good band I really would wanted to see live b ut was way too young to go to clubs but it seems they were having a good time up there.
