Selena's mind raced more as she gathered all her thoughts together. She was surprised at how suddenly these thoughts sprung into her mind. Drawing in a long, deep breath, she met eyes with Logan. "We've been together for four years.." She started.

Logan chuckled softly as relief flooded through his body. "Yes, I think I already mentioned that."

"I'm not done." she slightly snapped back at him making his lips zip shut as he became ready to listen to her. "If we've been together this long, why don't we just..." She let out a deep breath, "get married?" Selena looked up at him, curious and scared at the same time. She knew how Logan felt on this topic.

As soon as he heard the words roll out of her mouth, he dropped her hand back in her lap. "Selena..." He huffed out.

"Well why not, Logan?" I mean, we've already been together for four years. And...I'm ready to settle down and have a family." She shrugged, biting her bottom lip.

"No." Logan stood up angrily and started to walk back towards where they came from.

Letting out her frustration, Selena got up and walked after him. "Logan, I don't understand why your so against marriage!" She yelled as she tried to catch up to him. "I thought you loved me, Logan!"

That simple statement made Logan skid to a stop. He spun on his heel and walked towards her. "I do love you, Selena. More than I love myself."

Throwing her arms up in the air, she started to protest. "Then why is it so hard to get you to make a commitment?!"

"I don't want that kind of commitment!"

"You've been commited to me for four years now, whats so hard about making it official?!"

"I don't WANT it, Selena!" He yelled as the bitterness tangled with his words.

"So, what, you don't know if I'm 'the one' for you or something?!" Selena yelled as she did air quotes with her fingers.

Logan pinched the bridge of his nose, obviously extremely frustrated. "You know, I have no idea." He closed his eyes.

The words stung Selena. Her heart dropped and tears slowly sprung to the rim of her eyes. "You..you have no idea if I'm the one you want to spend the rest of your life with?"

His eyes fluttered back open at her conclused. "Sel.." He softly spoke.

"No, I get it, Logan. You obviously don't feel the same about me." Selena whimpered as she wiped the
tears away with the back of her hand.

"Selena, did you not just hear me? I just said I loved you more than anything. And everything." He pleaded as he took a step closer to her. But as he steppd closer, she took a small step away.

"But not enough to marry me." She whispered.

Logan put his hands in his pockets. "What are you trying to say Selena?"

"If this is all we're ever going to be, we should just save the future heart-break and end this now." She said as tears ran down her face.

"Sel, no--" Logan started to protest.

"Goodbye, Logan." Selena whispered softly as she turned around and ran away into the darkness.

Lerman is such a... Im not even going to waste my time. He must be retarted like mentally if he dont like Selena. Plus, she is so out of his league.
