2005 GS500F filmed first with stock exhaust, then with the Yoshimura TRS Slip-on Stainless steel exhuast with no baffle. outside temperature was 35 degrees. No jet kit installed, pops very little on decel. no noticable power gains. very easy install, needed to cut stock pipe, the rest is bolt on. trying to put more info on the GS out there, since very little exists, enjoy!

  • Nice vid. I think that sounds much better than the vanes and Hines . Has a better quality to it

  • @PLdrummer just the air moving through the intake. Not a flaw in design, just a fake turbo!

  • @PLdrummer they're happy.

  • I have the TRS Yoshimura pipe on my 2006 GS500. I would recomend that you have a Dynojet carb. set up done at the same time. The GS500 preforms like a new bike, it is awsome in every respect.

  • I have an 05 GS500F. I love the bike, but it seems that nobody has ever heard of it before. I drive it to work every day (weather permitting) and get compliments all the time. I considered installing a Yoshi slip-on, but I'm planning on selling my bike in about a year to upgrade to a cbr or gsxr. Thanks for the vid.

  • do you have the link for the website that you bought this exhaust from?

  • and also why do the gs500s all whistle!?

  • @PLdrummer i can't even tell if i was sarcastic...

  • yoshi only lists pipes for 05+ gs500F's, but i have an 04. is there a difference in the exhaust i'm not aware of or would this pipe work for my bike as well? Pardon me if i sound like a noob, i got the bike about 2 weeks ago :)
