OK. Fair comment Mick. But Don's version hangs together better don't you think? I'm not in a position to knock any Irish singer or culture, it's just what I'm used to. Try the DM version and compare. I'm just a pedantic owld get that's all...

No worries, John.

In fact this is only a snippet, I do use the "dark mourne" later in my recording. When my Mum used to sing this to us, we called it "The Job Song". Don's version is by far my favourite.
