i take this as a metaphor for life, and my freight train is movein faster as i grow older, goin down the line to the end with only me in the boxcar from birth till death completely alone doomed to rejoice and suffer in solitude, givein up on finding love in this lifetime, with no one beside me to take in the view. thank you elizabeth for this beautiful tune. it means alot to me right now

Elizabeth "Libba" Cotten was born in January 1893, if this recording was from 1905 she would be 12 years old in this clip. I'd say it was probobly recorded in the 1970s-80s.
