The London, Ontario Sinkhole of October 31st, 2007

It was Halloween Day and we all came to work dressed in costumes and the power was out due to an enormous sinkhole that appeared a few blocks away. So the staff of City Lights decided to go and look at it. You can see us at the end of this short clip. It's Joey, the artist, Liane, the writer, Kevin, the musician (his band, The Knaves, are fantastic)and me, the hmmmm, well, me. After that, we went somewhere to watch some paint dry. But you know, there really is something about staring into an unexpected abyss on a disrupted work day!

Well, it actually has ipacted business a lot. All of the traffic snarl ups and the reroutes and the even less parking have brought things to a bit of a crawl. Not good right before the hoidays. We have been gasping for air since it happened. So hey, drop by and visit us, we're lonely!! --t
