  • Original recorded at 140 instead of the blistering 160 odd that you do it at. Wiki got it wrong too, as the different tones found on the record were achieved by using up to nine of these instruments, rather than differing tones depending on how hard the notes were hit. We had problems with breaking tynes during the recording and I recall at least three keyboards being unusable during those few weeks until I could get new bits finally from Wurlitzer in Boston. I worked on four of them at Macs.

  • @kevincrossley whats going on here

  • what type of organ is this or what is it if its not organ

  • it is a Wurlitzer Electronic Piano, this is a model 200. The most popular models are the 200a's, which have a different amp than this one. just google it and you'll find tons on it.

  • Tasty wurly you have there! I like the finish on it, can't get any more pimp than a sparkly wurly! You should be very proud!

  • thanks, yea it's actually metal flake car paint that changes from green to blue depending on the angle of the light. i'm not really about changing original things but the cover of this one was so chewed up it look grey...the black keys have reflective sparkly blue vinyl on them, and yes i am straight
