Gotta love Buddy's snap answer on his career destiny if he hadn't been a musician. Yeah, he could have made it as a bank robber, and he wouldn't have needed a gun. He would have disarmed everyone with his humor and with everyone ROFL, he could walk our with the cash. Even without drums Buddy would have made the hall of fame as a stand-up comic and/or a tap dancer. Lucky for us, he had drums too.

Buddy's probably the greatest drummer who ever lived, and what I like about him is that he's humble and a really nice guy most of the time.

I AGRREE. Buddy is so cool with this sort of thing. He really had the right mood amd come back. Far, far, far too many people kiss-up to any journalist. Especially the way journalists can be deeply patronizing to any musician. Actors are bowed down to... Buddy would do a show and the tv guy says his name and that's it; done. I so totally agree here: Buddy all the way; he handled it perfectly.
