I was watching a documentary on the History Channel about Alaska. They were discussing the Japanese invasion of an Alaskan island. They played a clip of video recorded from a plane over cloud cover. An odd object pops in to view on the left side of the screen. In the video I play it in slow motion back and forth a few times. At the end you can see the zoomed out view. I cannot imagine what that is or if it came from the plane? Any video experts out there that can enhance videos?

  • Just something else I should mention to a prospective video sleuth. There are a couple of things to notice. One is apparent camera jitter of the "object". This can be compared to the cloud and ground cover. Another interesting aspect is that just before the scene ends, the plane is apparently banking to the right. You can see this by looking at the shoreline at the top. It is very strange that an anomaly walks of in the same direction as the shoreline at about the same rate of change.

  • The conclusion from one of the best UFO analysts is that this is a piece of debris on the film when the copy of the original was made. While it would be cool to analyze the original footage to see if that is the case it is obviously not practical. One day the real thing will show up on some old vintage film. :) Thanks.
