  • @AndyRantz okay. That's cool, dude. In this case I misunderstood. But finally I just want to say that I don't think that DeAngelo isn't good. In my opinion he isn't that much better than Stew, who is a hack of a RB, too. Your team has a great running attack now with Newton in the mix it's tha shit...After the Vikings i like your team and the Giants the most since I follow football (2001). Greetz from Germany...peace

  • @Allday28VIKE Hold on now. I never said he was better; I fully agree that AP is the better back. I was simply justifying my team's backs against an AP fan who said they suck. Big difference there.

And I wouldn't say D-Lo is a split back because he isn't good. Ever since the Panthers came into the league in '95, they've been a split back team, regardless of who the runningbacks were.

  • The only weakness Peterson had was the fumbling-thing, but he proved that he is improving just fumbling once in each of the past two seasons.

For the protocol: DeAngelo is a hack of a running back and a lot of teams would be glad to have him. But sayin' he is better than AD...hell no.

  • @AndyRantz Really? C'mon man. Let's have a look at this

(Stats since 2007 when both played in the nfl):

    DeAngelo Williams: 875 carries, 4546 yards, 5,19 ypc, 40 TDs, 5-(5) fumbles-(lost)

    Adrian Peterson: 1406 carries, 6752 yards, 4,8 ypc, 67 TDs, 22-(14) fumbles-(lost)

Adrian carries his team while DeAngelo has to split carries cuz he is not obviously better than Stewart. BTW...I doubt that DeAngelos ypc would be that high if he would get the same amount of carries.

  • umm really>> Deangelo Williams 155 carries 886 yards for only 7 touchdowns

All Day 208 carries 970 yards and 12 touchdowns. Dont use Deangelo's 2008 season (his only breakout season) to justify hes better than Peterson dude

  • @seanman70 DeAngelo Williams: 274 carries, 1515 yards, 5.53 yards per carry, 20 total TDs, 0 fumbles. All this while splitting carries with Stewart.

Peterson: 364 carries, 1757 yards, 4.82 yards per carry, 10 total TDs, 9 fumbles.

  • @AndyRantz oh really plz show me

  • @seanman70 He actually had about 200 less yards on about 100 less attempts, and he had 10 more touchdowns than AP did. So look up the stats before you talk, big guy.

  • @AndyRantz but how many yards has he gained yea thought so. how many tds did williams have thought so
