Cheryl Current who shoots semi professionally gives you her insight on buying a pistol for the first time. This video will give you an idea of what to look for in a handgun, and what Cheryl looks for in a handgun. Everyone is different, so spend a lot of time in choosing one that fits your hand, not for one that is pretty or popular. You should not have to manipulate or move the gun in anyway to get the right amount of your trigger finger on the trigger. If you do, it's probably not the gun for you. Read the safety manual prior to shooting any handgun, and get training. Again, there is so much to think about and look for in a handgun, and Cheryl is merely giving you some suggestions and things to think of before purchasing one that isn't right for you. All guns are potentially dangerous, so treat them as if they were loaded, and lock them up away from children.

  • Jesus Christ lady....the TCP DOES have an "inherent" long trigger pull,,,the SAME as a revolver. The TCP is DOUBLE ACTION ONLY. Stop spreading misinformation on semi-autos to women, making them seem like you need an engineering degree to operate them and not accidentally discharge them.

  • @boochieboy814 We appreciate your input on this matter but our collective vast experience agrees with what Mrs. Current had to say. Take it for what you want. The person typing this is a female and I own both.

  • This girls got some miles on her....

  • @pcursed You wouldn't tell that to her face after you saw how she shot. lol We all have miles on us. It's what is called life. Thanks for the view, and keep shooting.

  • What's up with the "dry" firing???

  • @1quipper It doesn't hurt most handguns, and it allows you to stay familiar with your handgun. Practice makes perfect, and you sure as hell don't want to forget what you are doing when defending yourself or your family.

  • @boochieboy814 dude you are flat out fucking retarded if you think she made semis out to be "unsafes messes" in the video. Talk about reaching up your own ass to pull out a pile of bullshit.... She said semi autos are more complicated. That spretty much it, and shes correct. Maybe get off youtube for a day or two and calm down and take a break, maybe you wouldnt get so upset just because your favorite platform isnt getting a pat on the back...

  • @boochieboy814 too bad you couldnt focus on what she was saying hard enough to actually understand. She picked up that particular firearm to represent semi autos in general. She never said the TCP does have a long trigger pull, she was stating that semi autos IN GENERAL dont have long trigger pulls, which they dont.

  • This video was not helpful. Just because the gun is semi auto doesn't mean a beginner can't buy it or learn how to use it. It doesn't matter if it's semi auto or a revolver you should still go to the gun range frequently and be comfortable enough with any gun you own...you make women sound like they can't fire a gun. Also the semi auto is much more comfortable to shoot then a revolver.

  • technically the "bullet" is the projectile, the whole cartridge is considered to be ammunition, just sayin.

  • Now I feel like a bitch, I want that S&W.

  • @pcursed what a PoS and an embarrassment to all men of any class. tell you what, son, i've got a lot of miles on me but i guarantee... i think you all know where i'm going

  • @1quipper Term used to pull trigger on a unloaded gun. No ammo + pull trigger= Dry firing.

  • @SeeMeEat LOL..... It was a funny joke.. have a sense of humor gezzz.... you must be trying to knock the cobwebs off yourself or somenthing... huh? LOL. now that was another JOKE. in case you didnt know... have fun... Oh yeah one more thing, be sure and double up before you get in there.. LOL.. OK.. Im done...

  • read the title....BAD IDEA...enough said.
