Tent city moves to east Spokane, upsetting some neighbors

The tent city that was set up in downtown Spokane has moved to east Spokane, on a vacant lot near Napa & Sinto. The organizers believe hundreds will eventually show up. But neighbors in the area have mixed emotions about the the tents coming in. KXLY4's Karina Shagren reports.

Why can't the homeless move into empty houses that have been repossessed? Nobody in the current economic climate is able to buy those houses anyway, so they may as well be used for a good purpose.

How sad that the man who complained, must be doing well financially as he could also end up homeless too. If I had private property or land, I would let the homeless come live on it until they can get their lives back up again. What is needed is more manufacturing and assembly jobs back in America! Then the jobless rate could be reduced. American name brand should be made in the USA not China!
