Everyday at my work I get somebody telling me that I have "something on my face", I have a medusa piercing and stretched ears, I appreciate this message a lot and I agree with you entirely, I don't judge people who are typically classified as 'normal' so I don't see why it's okay to judge someone classified as 'different'. After all each one of us is completely different to the next person.

I have 14 facial piercings and 32mm stretched earlobes, im constantly being portrayed as a criminal, in reality im a social worker for teenage drug addicts.

it's not like you like things in isolation from the society around you. you're responding to it in some way because it conveys a certain message. girls with highlights do that too, because they wish to be "normal" and validated in that way. you chose an "alternative" look for your visual identity, well aware of, and due to, the fact that it was outside the "mainstream". these things are more noticeable and less accepted by nature. i chose these things as well, anticipating others' reactions.

@meganlovesyouwoo To be honest, I agree with you 100%. I'm someone who is "alternative", in your words and I agree that there are alot of people with body mods who are very judgmental, as well. But the whole point of this video, I think, is not to point fingers and try to figure out who is worse, but to say that everyone needs to shut the hell up and stop judging everyone else. I chose to have an un-natural colored hair and some people don't. Who cares?

Love your comment about makeup. It's not meant to hide you or cover you up, it's meant to enhance your features. There's nothing wrong with that!

Also I only have one piercing but have had strangers tell me I'm disgusting. Even go as far to say that my parent's should be ashamed. Nothing gives them that right :/

i live in a very small town and every time i leave the house i am criticised on my facial piercings, my hair, and how i dress. in the past year there have been rumors spread about me that i dropped out of school to give my child up for adoption so that i can stay home all day and use/sell drugs. i don't drink/smoke or do drugs, and am currently on the road to becoming a paleontologist. people need to take a step back and focus on their own lives.

As a 'normal' person I've actually noticed a lot of the more 'alternative' people I know are incredibly judging, if someone isn't alternative like them then they seriously don't even give them a chance. Both are as bad as each other.

OMG ABOUT THE HAIR/MAKE UP/CLOTHES STUFF... so true. i have colorful hair, used to have piercing. and not for anyone, just mine.
