@dirtyspic people are always going to think that their favorite artists/lyricist/whatever title you want to give them deserve more appreciation that what they've gotten. Relatively speaking, Pac gets a shitload of recognition and appreciation for the lyrics that he wrote. It's just a shame that he's no longer with us...

@dirtyspic nah thats my whole point, he's not under rated by the hip hop world. It's interesting to me that instead of trying to explain the difference between "artist" and "lyricist" you were just condescending towards me. I think Pac gets recognized for his lyrics even more than for his flow to be honest with you. Not sure what you're basing your opinion off of, but maybe it's just that, opinion, which is fine. I just don't think it's accurate.

If you don't know the difference between an artist and a lyricist I don't know what to tell you. Cannibus is a great lyrist, not that great of an artist if you ask me. Pac is appreciated as a great rapper/artist, but rarely does he get his just due when it comes to his lyrical content. Pac=underrated lyrist Pac as an artist= G.O.A.T. Very Simple.  Underrated maybe not by you or I, but to the hip hop world he is.

@dirtyspic what do you think people are commenting on when they say "artist" as opposed to "lyricist"?  Most of the beats are sampled anyway so that leaves one thing that's really an original evaluation of the artist, and that's the lyrics. So I don't think he's under rated, he's appreciated for his greatness, as he should be.
