Bell 47 J2A "Blue Jay" flown into a near head on with the brave photographer with a wave from Whirlybirds' & Bell Helicopter Assoc. President Joey "Mr. Bell 47" Rhodes. Rhodes is working extremely close to the ground during corn pollination and then off to refuel. See and hear why the Bell 47 earned the nickname "Chopper." As Joey states, "The Harley Davidson of Helicopters - The Bell 47." Joey will be signing autographs on Bell 47 posters at Rotorfest in Houston HAI-Heli Expo in the BHT Static display area Feb 24-25-26

  • this is the same ship that is featured on the new Bell 47 poster from HAI-Heli Expo 2008 Houston that Joey Rhodes was autographing. He signed posters non-stop for three days.

  • The Bell 47 will be given the exaltation

It deserves as long as Joey is around. Hope someone follows in his footsteps.

  • NICE, but next time please use a slower shtte speed to show the rotor moving. Thanks.

  • nice J2-A

  • totally clear... the shutter-time is exactly 1/x of the rotor-speed.
