As with any other bureaucracy the EPA has an interest to maintain there Office if there is no problem there would be no need for an EPA. In order to continue the government gravy train and research funding there has to be a problem real or imaginary. One only has to read the latest Climategate Emails to see that the environmental process is hopelessly corrupt and has little to do with saving the planet or human health.
