@yupyupandfriends The US armed forces all have strict uniform policies. Would you say they are "commies." In fact, when you go into the adult world, every job you get will have a uniform policy. Everywhere from the police and fire fighters, to McDonalds. Nurses, businessmen. It's only kids and teens who get away with not wearing a uniform.

@yupyupandfriends Actually, I'm a capitalist with conservative, libertarian beliefs. Communism is the political idea that the state should own and control everything; i.e. no private companies or enterprises. Schools in many capitalist countries have a strict uniform policy, including UK, Japan and my own Australia.

@UNB3AT4BL3xB4MF I thought all your schools were like that. You guys don't even have to wear uniforms. A lot of school shootings would not have happened if there had been a "uniform" uniform policy. One uniform. Everybody is equal that way. The rich kids, the poor kids; the cool kids, the quiet kids.

@steppinout67 That's the point of the long walks! It's a tour for the viewer so that we are more familiar with where the events happen. You're not supposed to be watching the person walking...you're supposed to be getting your bearings... understanding what it's like to be at that school. The monotony of it all is on purpose.

why is it every time you see someone walking in this movie (always a long distance like we've all agreed) it's like they're taking a damn tour of the whole school?
