It is clear that Republican Presidents raise budget deficits, while Democratic Presidents lower and even eliminate Federal budgets, sometime creating surpluses.

  • We must correct our understanding of economics.

  • Please pity us poor Americans (and the World) for our election choices. The major candidates under our woefully broken two-party system look like Tweedledum and Tweedledee dancing around either side of the moderate line when what we really need is a top to bottom remake of the whole skewed system. With zero confidence that I'm "voting for change", I'm voting on a few specific issues: the economy, the environment, and civil rights. Thus, the lesser of two evils is Obama.
