Dick Alexander and the Good American Economy discuss the differences in Federal budget spending between Democratic and Republican administrations. It is clear that Republican Presidents raise budget deficits, while Democratic Presidents lower and even eliminate Federal budgets, sometime creating surpluses.
We must correct our understanding of economics.

Please pity us poor Americans (and the World) for our election choices. The major candidates under our woefully broken two-party system look like Tweedledum and Tweedledee dancing around either side of the moderate line when what we really need is a top to bottom remake of the whole skewed system. With zero confidence that I'm "voting for change", I'm voting on a few specific issues: the economy, the environment, and civil rights. Thus, the lesser of two evils is Obama.
